About FeedSense

A young organisation registered in 2024 after almost 3 years of rigorous research on various techniques on exchange traded financial products. A young team drawn from reputed institutions aspires to make a difference in prediction automation. We attempt to use logic induced formulations to arrive at forecasts in liquid assets traded on Indian stock exchanges.

We do believe that you will enjoy being at FeedSense. We are currently operating out of the City of Joy, Kolkata. At the organization level, we do have a few philosophies to follow. We are gender agnostic. We do not ask caste, creed, and religion.

Our approach to work is always objective based, that promotes ground breaking research as well as disciplined hard work. We rely on competitive strength of about 50 people and few mentors who are part of our Advisory Council. Yes, we do party often to celebrate teams’ successes and events that are of national significance. Most of our colleagues are post graduates and PhD holders, as well as possesses SEBI certifications.

Mr. Berjis Desai is a Master of Law from University of Cambridge, UK. He is an eminent professional law practitioner with nearly 40 years of experience in transactional and dispute resolution laws. He has served as a Managing Partner and as the Senior Partner at J Sagar Associates, a national law firm. At present, he is an independent legal counsel engaged in private client practice, viz: -Succession and estate planning for HNIs and promoter families through wills, trusts and family arrangements - Resolving family, testamentary and business disputes through mediation; -Insolvency and asset reconstruction advisory. Mr. Berjis Desai is the author of: ‘OH! THOSE PARSIS, A to Z of the Parsi way of life’ and ‘The Bawaji’ Chronicles of a Vanishing Community’.

Dr. Arindam Saha is currently the Managing Director of Feedsense AI Private Limited, an organization making prediction engines using mathematical, statistical and AI models. In a career spanning 26 years, he has worked in various sectors including steel, textile, chamber of commerce, commodity exchange, stock exchanges, data analytics and media. Before Feedsense AI, he worked in organizations like the Indian Chamber of Commerce, FIEO (Ministry of Commerce & Industry), The Economic Times, MCX, BSE, NSE and Ticker. He has performed roles in energy management, business development, strategy, general management and communications. He has studied economics, statistics and management from the University of Calcutta, Indian Statistical Institute and IISWBM. Dr Saha is a PhD in Finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

He has been designated as the Key Management Personnel since April 2010, as the Chief People Officer of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), the 3 rd largest exchange in the world and till date. Chandrasekhar has the unique exposure of working in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects and assignments, including working in different work environments and cultures, like MNCs, Indian Companies (both professionally board and promoter driven) Public Sector, Government of India and NGO. He is known to facilitate organizations to conceptualise / implement HR and Employee Relations best practices, including spearheading implementation of eHR in his last six companies and Merger & Acquisition. He is currently working with Bhilosa Industries, as Senior President & CHRO, a textile company with an annual turnover of Rs. 8500 Cr, 35 factories and an employee strength of 11,000. Prior to this Alumini of South Indian Bank, SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited & Group companies, National Stock Exchange of India & its Group Companies, Times of India Group, Cabot India Ltd, Colgate-Palmolive, Group Usha, Modern Group, Coal India Ltd, Department of Customs & Central Excise and Magic Bus Foundation (NGO). Known as ‘Chandra’, among his sports fraternity, he is a sports enthusiast and former national ranked table tennis player. Professionally, facilitated NSE win the prestigious CII Exim Bank Business Excellence Prize twice in 2014 & 2016, at the Annual National Quality Summit of the CII and certified as ‘’Great Workplace” by the GPTW Institute, USA and ranked 44 th (All India) in the Economic Times GPTW Awards in June 2017. In recognition of his body of work, Chandrasekhar has also been recognised internationally at the World CHRO conference 2016-17 in Dubai and ‘HR Mavericks’ Award in Digital Era at the at the Go Digital 2020 conference 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Dr. Joydeep Dutta is a faculty member at IIT Kanpur's Department of Mathematics and Statistics, focusing on optimization applications in economics and engineering problems. He was a Professor on Deputation at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur. He served as a Professor of Mathematical Economics at the Department of Economic Sciences and Economics Group at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. He was a Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Institute of Management Technology, and Lecturer in Mathematics at P. D. Women's College at North Bengal University. The author has received several fellowships throughout their academic and professional career. In June 2000, He was awarded the Visiting Fellowship of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture. He also received the Post-Doctoral Fellowship of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) in India in December 1998 and the Junior Research Fellowship from the University Grants Commission, Government of India in 1993. He also received Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Scholarship from the Government of India in 1993. He also holds membership in several professional societies such as the International Working Group on Generalized Convexity and Generalized Monotonicity, the Research Group on Mathematical Inequalities and Applications; Pacific Optimization Research Activity Group. He is also a referee for various journals, including the Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, the Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, the Journal of Global Optimization, Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, and the Pacific Journal of Optimization.

Sankarson Banerjee is an experienced technology professional with over 28 years of work experience, including over 16 years in CXO-level positions. As an independent consultant, Sankarson specialises in digital transformation, product design, cloud transformation and agile ways of working. He works with businesses and start-ups to refine their product, improve their go-to-market offerings, increase adoption of new technologies and choose technology directions. He has also been working with firms to understand and improve their internal technology capabilities with a particular focus on digital and AI. Today Sankarson is an advisor to private equity, banks, NBFCs, product companies and start-ups, both in India and abroad. He is also an independent director on the boards of a few companies in the BFSI and Fintech spaces. In the past Sankarson has held CIO roles in RBL Bank, The National Stock Exchange and IIFL Group. He has also worked extensively in technology consulting with stints in Accenture, Mphasis and IBM. Sankarson was also closely associated with e-commerce in India as cofounder of one of the first wave of e-commerce start-ups to gain prominence in India, and later as CEO of retail major Future Group’s e-commerce subsidiary in 2006. In recent times, he has specialised in digital transformation and digital banking, with assignments for DBS, SBM, ICICI and other banks. A graduate of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta, he is an enthusiastic traveller, reader and one-time marathoner. His annual adventure is a solo bicycle ride of around 1,500 km through different countries .

Dr. Sitangshu Khatua is an Associate Professor in Management Area at Xavier Business School, St. Xavier University Kolkata. He is a PhD in Finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur, MBA (Finance), MTech (CU), B.Tech (NIT Durgapur), CFA , ERP (Oracle Financial). He has about 24 years of experience working in academics and industry. He is a visiting faculty at XLRI, Narsee Monjee (Mumbai), IIFT (Kolkata), Calcutta University, Strategy Academy. He was the Editor of the Journal ‘Perspectives of Management’ published by Heritage. Earlier he taught at XISS, Ranchi, NIT, Durgapur, HBS, ICFAI, etc. He has been awarded ‘The Best Professor in Financial Management’ for the year 2019 by AMP Hyderabad. His research work “Using Real Option in today’s Covid Crisis” received the best paper award in the International Conference held at Symbiosis University. He is the recipient of Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing by AJEBA. He was nominated as a Speaker by AIWAI, India during FEW2020. He has presented several research articles in national and international conferences in India and abroad and published papers in peer reviewed journals like Vikalpa, IRJFE, EMAJ, Indian Journal of Finance, IUP Journals, IJAC, etc. He has authored 6 books, most remarkable being “Project Management & Appraisal” from Oxford University of Press in the year 2011 and “Financial Economics” from ABS Publishing house in 2021 and “Financial Engineering” from LAP in the year 2022.
